My name is Kara, and I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, commonly known as PCOS. PCOS is a common condition that affects 3 million women per year. It affects 8-13% of women of reproductive age. PCOS is an imbalance in hormones that affect the ovaries, which produce and release eggs as part of the menstrual cycle. Women with PCOS may have irregular menstrual cycles, infertility, ovarian cysts, excessive hair growth, acne, and weight gain. My diagnosis of PCOS has affected my ability to conceive, and I have been diagnosed with infertility recently.

I am asking for you to help my partner and I on this new path to fertility treatment, which is very expensive, and our insurance does not pay for treatments. We are seeking assistance with the financial burden of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and would be honored if you would help. Even $5 would help towards the cost of trying to grow our family and have a child.
